Description

I shot this image in April from a Bortle 3 site and then took some Ha data from my backyard. I could never get it right it just didn't look good. I realize this is because I really didn't get enough data but it was the last night at the dark site and that's all the time there was. Anyway having switched to PI lately I found the PCC process helped me get the colors right and then using the new BlurExterminator Process things started to come together. I've also been doing my noise reduction in PS and I finally bought the NoiseExterminator plug in and that made a big difference. Anyway I'm more than happy with it now.

This was shot with a dual rig: FLT 132 and ASI 6200MM for Luminance and RGB Ha with FLT 91 and ASI 2600 MM.

Luminance 75 mins 9 by 300 s
RGB 25 mins Each 5 by 300 s
Ha 260 mins 26 by 600 s

I've posted a full frame and cropped version, BlurX does make quite a difference especially on the background galaxies.
